What are transparent security stickers used for?
Transparent security stickers such as Prismade’s PrismaID Label offer digital protection for sensitive documents such as contracts, certificates or ID cards. This process is based on fine line printing and printed electronics, that offer a double layer of protection. The security stickers serve as forgery-proof authentication tools. They can be activated by interacting with a smartphone, without the need for an app or prior knowledge.

How does the security sticker work?
- The digital code is printed on a label using conductive ink (Clevios™ from Heraeus Epurio).
- The structure is based on fine line printing technology with line widths of 10-100 µm.
- By placing the document on a smartphone and swiping over the label, the digital fingerprint is read directly in the browser.

The label cannot be removed and cannot be transferred to other documents. Once affixed, the sticker serves as a digital key to online services or as proof of authentication.
